Chelsea were handed an injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain as captain John Terry has trained with the squad on Monday after picking up a knock in the weekend.
However, fresh reports coming out of England claim the Blues captain has been ruled out of the crucial tie following the hamstring problem.
After Monday’s workout, Terry, 35, was not deemed fit enough to make the trip to the Parc des Princes for Tuesday’s crucial round of 16 tie clash with the Paris millionaires.
The former England international was replaced by Baba Rahman in the first-half at Stamford Bridge as the Blues ran riot over Newcastle United to continue their unbeaten run under interim manager Guus Hiddink.
But it’s not all bad news for the reigning Premier League champions as Brazil midfielder Oscar has travelled with the squad to Paris.
Chelsea fell at this same stage to Laurent Blanc’s side last season, having eliminated them in the quarterfinal stage two years ago.
