Some Northern governors are currently in Saudi Arabia on a 3-day visit to the Islamic Development Bank in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, where they are to meet with the bank's president, Ahmad Ali and other top officials, to solicit for partnership to help facilitate development in the region. The meeting between the governors and the bank's top executives started today and will last till Tuesday Feb. 2nd.

A man who attempted to smuggle more than £3million worth of cocaine into Heathrow Airport has been jailed.

Border Force officers stopped 44-year-old Danovan Silveria Bull in Terminal 5 as he arrived on a domestic flight from Aberdeen on December 19 last year, after a detector dog drew attention to his baggage.

His bags were searched and a number of cling-film wrapped packages were found, which tested positive to a cocaine field test.

Chris Brown has reacted after reports his baby mama Nia Guzman is taking him to court on the claims that he has exposed her child to second hand smoke, giving her asthma.

Daily Post reports that during the hand-over ceremony, Mbaka informed those around that he was going to suffer as he would be moving from a duplex to a room in Our Lady Parish, Emene, where he is to serve as a resident priest, under another priest. Venerable Stephen Eseteru Ogue, JP, 53, of St. John’s Anglican Church, Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government  Area of Delta State and author of several Christian books died at about 7.45 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015, two hours  before he was supposed to officiate at a funeral service.
He reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at Lily Hospital, Deco Road, Warri. His first  daughter, Oghenenyoreme Ogue, said he had been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure.

33-year-old Oluwabunmi and her 42-year-old husband, Bankole Ogidan both pictured above, welcomed their first child at a hospital in Ogun state on Wednesday January 27th from a pregnancy she reportedly carried for four years.

According to him, “I never really wanted to talk about it all this while but after people started checking out my new song, Killa, many felt Blackface sounded like Wizkid, which I didn’t like. If you check properly, you would realize that Wizkid’s hit sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010.”

Six people have died after a commercial boat taking them to Lekki area of Lagos capsised in Badore. The boat was on the way to Lekki from Ijede in Ikorodu when it capsized.

It was gathered that 11 of the passengers were rescued while six died. It is, however, unclear how many passengers were aboard the boat and rescue agencies are currently on the scene of the incident.

Don Meyer allegedly pointed a loaded semi-automatic assault rife at the chest of Constable Clarke Steele as they argued over an order to vacate on January 11.

Steele fired one round, which struck the 57-year-old father in the arm and then pierced the chest of his daughter, Ciara, who was hiding behind him. She died at the scene.

Very vocal South African Sports and Recreation Minister, Fikile Mbalula said today Jan. 29th that his twitter account was hacked after a raunchy photo of Nigerian songstress, Maheeda was posted on his twitter timeline last night.

The post has since been deleted, but he is currently the butt of joke on Twitter. The sports minister first responded to the furore around midnight, tweeting: "NB MY TWITTER ACCOUNT WAS HACKED THEY WILL NEVER SUCCED" and then this morning, he tweeted again: "Good morning Twitter: Yesterday, I wasn’t online but I was alerted of a post on my Time-line. Logged on line and quickly deleted it".
