Taylor Swift has responded after Kim Kardashian claimed the star was lying about Kanye and has pleaded with the famous couple to just "leave her alone".
Kim criticised the singer in a new interview, insisting she "totally knew" about the lyrics in the rapper's diss track Famous earlier this year - and even promised to laugh about the song at the Grammy Awards.
The controversial song featured the line "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b*tch famous. According to UK Mirror, responding to Kim's comments, a spokesperson for Taylor said in a statement:
"Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect."
Taylor's spokesperson confirmed she had spoken to Kanye on the phone and he had asked her to release the song on her Twitter account.
