At least 15 people were killed after two suicide bombers detonated explosives in Mashalari village in Borno state on Monday, September 18, 2017.
According to a report by AFP, a rescue worker and a member of the civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) confirmed the unfortunate incident.

"There were twin suicide explosions at 11:10 am in Mashalari village (near Konduga), which killed 15 and left 43 others injured."The attack follows reports of militants slaughtering five people, including a Chief Imam in the Kurmiri village of Titiwa Ward in the state on Sunday, September 17.
