Throwback Photo Of Former President Jonathan As He Clock 59

Former President, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, who was born on 20th of November 1957, has clocked 59 today, and his former media aide, Reno Omokri, is using a throw-back photo of the Bayelsa-born politician during his NYSC days to celebrate the 'Hero of Democracy.'

Recall that Goodluck Jonathan served as the country's president from 2010 to 2015. He served as Vice-President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010 and also as Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007.

He contested and lost the 2015 presidential election, upon which he conceded defeat and became the first sitting Nigerian president to do so. Jonathan's term as President of Nigeria ended on 29 May 2015, with Muhammadu Buhari becoming the new president.
