Sevilla stunned Barcelona, beating the
La Liga champions 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The home side took the lead in the 52nd minute --
and it meant Barcelona had conceded for the
seventh game in a row. Michael Krohn-Dehli was
left unmarked at back post to knock in a cross
from Kevin Gameiro.
And they doubled their lead just six minutes later
as Krohn-Dehli turned provider, setting up Vicente
Iborra to head home the second.
Barca, without the injured Lionel Messi who is out
for up to two months, gave themselves hope in the
74th minute as Neymar converted from the spot,
after Benoit Tremoulinas had been penalised for
handball in the area.
But there was no way back as Luis Enrique's team
missed the chance to go top of the table.
