Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has seven assists this season, more than anyone else in
Europe’s top five leagues.
The German playmaker, 27, is a superb creative talent, but came under criticism in his first two seasons at the Emirates Stadium for not influencing games enough.
However, Ozil is fulfilling his potential with a series of excellent displays, which have
included fine passes and crosses to get his
team-mates firing.
Ahead of big names like David Silva, of
Manchester City , and Bayern Munich’s
Douglas Costa , the former Real Madrid man
deserves all the hype he’s getting as he
shows himself to be the best assist-maker in
Europe.
