Reports had emerged earlier that the upper house of legislature did not reject Magu but the senate says that is not true.
In a new tweet posted on their twitter handle on Tuesday, the Nigerian Senate has confirmed that it rejected acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Senate Majority Leader Ali Ndume had reportedly claimed that the red chamber did not reject Magu but the new Senate confirmation totally negates that claim.
