Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce rumours get shut down (See details)

Rumours have been making rounds that Kim Kardashian is planning to divorce Kanye West. However, the reality star reportedly has no plans to leave the rapper despite a massive strain being put on their marriage.


However it's been a tough few months for the power pair. Shutting down reports, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians official Twitter handle declared that the rumours simply aren't true.

"Calm down everyone: Kim and Kanye are NOT divorcing," the tweet read.

While a source told People magazine that "this divorce stuff is completely false".

“Kim does not have any plans to divorce Kanye. She’s told me it’s false. The picture that’s being painted is that she is planning on leaving him because of the robbery and this [hospitalisation] incident," they said.

And a family source previously told E!: “Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.”

They added:

"She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him."She has many things on her plate, so being overwhelmed is expected."

When Kim's BBF Jonathan Cheban caught wind of the rumours, he called them "hysterical".

He told E! News:

"They're in good spirits. I don't want to talk much about them because it's not my business but I do have to say that the divorcing is kind of hysterical, that I will mention, because I just spoke to both of them on FaceTime literally before I was coming here and when I heard that I literally burst out laughing."
