No fewer than six students of the Federal Government Girls College, Abaji, a suburb of Abuja on Thursday morning allegedly escaped death along the Lokoja-Abuja highway.
Punch reports that the accident occurred after a Honda jeep carrying the students rammed into a parked truck while trying to overtake a vehicle on the expressway.
The accident reportedly occurred around 9:30am as the students who have vacated for the terms were traveling home for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
According to the report, no death was recorded. The driver and the students who sustained injuries have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
